Project description

Vives St-Laurent's latest project, named in honor of the nearby park, is located in the High Park neighborhood of Toronto.

Located on Fairview Avenue, the High Park residence is a narrow, three-story Edwardian house that evokes the discreet elegance and classic charm of the early 20th century era.

This renovation project aims to redefine the entire house to meet the contemporary needs of the residents. The design team is reorganizing the ground floor by relocating the kitchen to open onto the back terrace, fostering a seamless connection between the interior and exterior, while maximizing natural light. In addition, improvements are being made to the sleeping area, with particular attention paid to the renovation of the shared bathroom on the second floor, integrating modern elements while preserving the original character of the house.

Finally, the attic is transformed into a versatile playroom with an adjoining bathroom, providing additional space for relaxation and family recreation. This residential renovation project reflects a commitment to modernizing and optimizing living spaces while preserving the aesthetics and character of this historic Toronto neighborhood, contributing to its evolution while respecting its architectural heritage.
